Casio Introduces First MR-G Which Feature The Iconic Design Of The Original G-SHOCK

Casio unveils its latest MRG-B5000 release, its first-ever  MR-G series to incorporate the iconic square face of the original G-SHOCK which was launched in 1983. 

As a tribute to the DW-5000C design, the MRG-B5000 features brilliant shine and dignified distinctions to the shock-resistant watch using a cutting-edge metal finish. 

Casio developed a new Multi-Guard Structure which provides impeccable shock-resistant elements and enables polished finishes to be applied to each individual component, including the most challenging part.  

The brand also utilises special materials sourced from Japan like COBARION which is used on top of the surface for the bezel and DAT55G, a titanium alloy which is proven harder than titanium. It is not only scratch resistant but it ensures a long-lasting with a beautiful mirror-like finish. 

The Casio MRG-B5000 functions include radio-controlled calibration and Smartphone Link connectivity. To sync with the right time, the watch links to the CASIO WATCHES smartphone app. Moreover, it is equipped with a solar charging system and a bright LED light for added convenience.

These two new additions in the MR-G series stand at the pinnacle of the diverse family of G-SHOCK watches with the unchanging form of the original design and meticulous attention to quality.

They are now available in all G-SHOCK Stores and G-Factory as well as Casio E-commerce website, retailing at RM18,500 for MRG-B5000B (black) and RM15,500 for MRG-B5000D (silver).
