Planning a trip to KK bah? Kota Kinabalu, also affectionately known as KK, is the capital state of Sabah, located on the northern area of Borneo. An extremely diverse place where everybody gets along, the city is always alight, thanks to the bustling street markets, beaches, and waterfront. And when you’re at a coastal city, of course you have to try the seafood! Yes, the restaurant really does have four “S”s in its name, because it’s just that bagussss! Bagussss Restaurant is the place to be if you’re looking for some out of this world abalone (pictured), and honestly, we’d order 20 bowls of this if we could. Not a fan of fresh abalone? Why not try some crab, cooked any way you like? Or perhaps some crispy-fried tiger prawns, smothered in sweet, spicy, soy sauce? To complement your seafood dishes, give some of their meat dishes a go, too, like their Black Pepper Beef Ribs or Ostrich Meat & Mushroom in Oyster Sauce if you’re feeling adventurous.

At Fatt Kee Seafood Restaurant, you can expect nothing but simple yet amazing seafood dishes, just like the one pictured above. They’re straight to the point, with no fuss and no muss, and they give us home cooking vibes.
