We had to start off strong with the ever-so-popular Suki-Ya! The prices may be steeper than other hotpot restaurant, but it’s absolutely worth it for their free flow of freshly sliced beef, lamb, and chicken, and they also offer four choices of soup bases, which are shabu-shabu, miso, sukiyaki, and kimuchi. For solo eaters and couples, you can choose two soup bases, whereas bigger groups can opt for up to four soup bases. Their buffet bar is always fully stocked with all kinds of fishballs and vegetables, and you can also dip your cooked meats in raw pasteurised eggs for the ultimate hot pot experience. Since it’s a buffet, you can eat to your hearts content for 120 minutes, and children eat at half price, too. Take note that the prices are different for lunch and dinner seatings.

This halal hot pot restaurant serves up some of the freshest meat, seafood, and vegetables in KL, and starting at RM29.80, they’re also one of the most affordable steamboat restaurants.
