In a heartwarming gesture at their Annual Installation and 3rd Anniversary bash, Rotary Club of HartaMas declared a mission to brighten the lives of underprivileged kids.
The event, graced by the esteemed Y.M Tengku Dato’ Dr. Hishammuddin Zaizi Bin Y.A.M Tengku Bendahara Azman Shah Alhaj, was a beacon of the club’s dedication to community service.
This year’s focus: sponsoring 100 deserving children from Yayasan Sunbeams Homes and Pertubuhan Kebajikan Lindungan Ikhlas KL. The club’s Installation Event, an annual celebration with a twist, aims to embody Rotary’s vision of a world transformed through unity and action.
Vaishana Vasuthavan, the Vocational & Community Service Director, and founder of VV Consulting Group (VVCG), expressed, “Our commitment to sponsoring 100 underprivileged children is a testament to our dedication to positive change. As part of Rotary International’s global commitment to advancing education, we’re making a difference.”
Attendees not only revelled in a special day of unity but also contributed to a good cause. Proceeds from the event, priced at RM130 per adult and RM65 per child, are directed to support the education and well-being of these young minds.
The Installation Event wasn’t just about the cause; it was a day of joy. Guests enjoyed a scrumptious buffet from food trucks, live band entertainment, games for the kids, and even a friendly mascot.
Board members personally delivered sponsored meals to the children, creating priceless memories. Rotary Club of HartaMas isn’t just changing lives; they’re creating a symphony of joy and community impact.
