Regular Class

Flow Strong

This 60 minutes class focuses on fast pace movements that are beneficial to improve the flexibility and strength of the individuals. At Nafas Yoga, they will also incorporate several poses that aim to improve arm balances and inversions. The flow strong is suitable for all levels, but it is recommended for those who have attended a few of the flow 101 classes before.

Flow Slow

As the name suggests, flow slow includes movements that allow the body to move in a slower sequence but with similar intensity like flow strong. With slower breathing techniques, you can enter a meditative state that allows you to practise mindfulness. The flow slow class is ideal for beginners, especially those who have joined flow 101.

Flow 101

If you’re a beginner, flow 101 is a perfect introductory class for you as it emphasises the fundamental yoga movements. Their instructors also will lead the class to focus more on the details of each pose

Ashtanga Flow

During this one hour of class, you will learn a dynamic form of yoga with flowing sequence and movements techniques that are designed to be synchronised with breathing.

Hatha Flow

Inspired by the traditional Hatha practice, the Hatha flow incorporates mindful movement and breathing techniques that will support high flexibility and strength. You will also learn various inversion techniques during this class.

Strala Flow

The strala flow allows you to learn several movements in a continuous flow with controlled breathing. Unlike other techniques, the flows are created to ensure an easy transition, yet it also includes challenging poses that will surely make you sweat a bucket.

Special Class

Prenatal Yoga

This class features movements and breathing techniques that are specifically created for pregnant women. During the class, participants can learn proper controlled breathing, stretching technique and mindful breathing which will help them to build flexibility and stamina. The prenatal yoga class is suitable for those who have passed the first trimester of pregnancy. Currently, only private classes are available at Nafas Yoga.

Postnatal Yoga

Childbirth can significantly transform a woman’s physical and mental state. Thereby to help you equip with such changes the postnatal yoga class at Nafas Yoga focuses on four principles namely breathe, align, support and soften to expedite your recovery process. This class is suitable for those who have experienced three months of postpartum birth and five months of caesarean birth.

Yin Yoga

This slow paced yoga technique allows you to learn a controlled breathing method and usage of props as you hold the posture for up to five minutes. Yin Yoga is recommended for those who want to build their balance and fortify their muscles.

What Others Are Saying About Nafas Yoga

“Class was superb, the instructors were very engaged with us, the guidance was clear and well-paced. The studio was awesome, it had a peaceful and calming effect.”

“WOW — worked up a huge sweat at this class. Would classify it as beginner-intermediate. If you can’t take the (literal) heat this class might not be for you as it can get really warm in the studio. The moves seem simple but it takes a lot of effort to get them right and Karen really guides us through them!”

“A decent class if you’re starting the Ashtanga Primary Series. The instructor was attentive, and the 60 minutes was fully utilised. A clean place to practice, just doesn’t forget to bring your mat.”
