IKEA Damansara has announced a month-long exciting extravaganza to commemorate its 20-year anniversary. Until 20th August, visitors can expect grand celebrations, complete with activities and exclusive offers.
According to Malcolm Pruys, Country Retail Director for IKEA Malaysia, “IKEA Damansara has come a long way, thanks to the love and support that we’ve received over the years. 20 Years of Damansara Lah! is about celebrating this amazing journey we’ve shared with our customers, and the many moments we were able to spread joy and make them say wow or cantiknya! Our customers continue to inspire us, and we hope to grow further and offer solutions – home furnishing and beyond – that remain relevant to their ever-evolving needs.”

Fun Activities In-store, Inspired by the Timeless MAMMUT Chair
The celebration of IKEA Damansara Lah! will begin with the unveiling of a gigantic model of the 5-metre-tall MAMMUT kids’ chair.
Since its launch in 1993, the comic strip-inspired chair, which was part of the MAMMUT line for children, has been favoured among families. In keeping with such celebrations, IKEA Damansara has offered tons of fun-filled activities such as craft and arts for children to participate in, which will be held at IKEA Småland every weekend.
Exclusive Discounts and Offers!
As part of the 20 years celebration, weekly product offers will be exclusively introduced. These limited-time deals will be launched in phases at IKEA Damansara and Cheras until 20th August. Among the best-selling products that will be on sale are GRÅSALA Table, MATCHSPEL Gaming Chair, NISSAFORS Trolley, and more.
IKEA Damansara will also showcase several of its products that were launched in 2003 in the weeks leading up to its final celebration. Plus, there will also be a special offer on some of these products.
Join the Grand Anniversary Celebration
The celebration of the 20-year anniversary of IKEA Damansara will be celebrated with a bang on 20th August. Visitors can expect a variety of exciting events with live music and drumline percussion, live food sampling hosted by IKEA Food, drawing, colouring, and musical chairs.
