Nothing gives us that much-needed burst of energy to start the day quite like the promise of a delicious, hearty breakfast. Whether your palate is prone to the sweet or the savoury, there’s a breakfast dish for everyone. In the mornings, whether you decide to fill up on chocolate pastries or a classic English fry-up, the choice is yours.

One of the best breakfast hotspots is located at Taman Tun Dr Ismail or TTDI, a hipster haven packed with trendy cafes, restaurants, and retail shops. A major bonus? Most of these businesses are homegrown, so there’s no excuse to not support our local entrepreneurs. The next time you’re itching to find the best big breakfast in TTDI, revisit our list here at Glitz for inspiration.

Aperture highly recommends their Smoked Beef Panini for the panini lovers out there. Salmon fans should check out the Loxbri; salmon, scrambled eggs, and veggies served on a tasty brioche bun.

If you’re on the hunt for a TTDI kopitiam that sells food that’s different from the usual breakfast fare, Mukha is the spot for you. Inspired by the city Mukha located in Yemen, this unique cafe also has a book selection that customers can choose from and read at their leisure.

Mukha’s all-day breakfast menu sets itself apart with dishes such as Shakshuka with Sourdough and Mukha’s Big Breakfast with tabbouleh, beetroot hummus, and Moroccan lamb sausage. We love it when restaurants pick a theme and stick to it.
