In conjunction with Hari Merdeka, Nespresso collaborates with Barista Guild Asia on a quest to understand Malaysians’ unforgettable tastes. Ten selected baristas from Barista Guild Asia will create two coffee recipes that resonate with Malaysians using the finest and freshest coffees from Nespresso.
For the first recipe, the baristas will find themselves recalling an unforgettable taste they have had and translate it into a cup of coffee that they hold dear to their hearts. For the second recipe, the baristas will marry Nespresso coffees with Malaysians’ favourite local ingredients, think gula melaka, pandan, and more. Nespresso will share these recipes on its social media platforms for Malaysians to vote for their favourite recipe, and subsequently, Nespresso will serve the most-voted recipe at the Nespresso Boutique for a limited time.

Commemorating the Merdeka celebration, Nespresso Malaysia is introducing a Malaysian Favourites 8-sleeve Pack that encapsulates Malaysians’ all-time favourite coffees from the Ispirazione Italiana and World Explorations range. Reflecting a local flavour on its packaging design, the 8-sleeve pack is priced at RM192.
The finest and freshest cup of Nespresso coffee (per sleeve; 10 capsules per sleeve) is only starting from RM23.50. Meanwhile, the coffee drinkers can grab the Nespresso Atelier at RM1,799 and Nespresso Essenza Mini at RM649.
