HBO Releases Official Trailer for Original Drama Series ‘The Last Of Us’

HBO released the official trailer for the HBO Original drama series The Last of Us during the Comic-Con Experience 2022 (CCXP22) panel in So Paulo, Brazil.

The nine-episode first season will be available on HBO (Astro Ch 411) and HBO GO on Monday, January 16.

The Last of Us is set 20 years after annihilating contemporary civilization. Joel, a tough survivor, is recruited to transport 14-year-old Ellie out of a restrictive quarantine zone. 

What begins as a minor assignment quickly becomes a terrible and heartbreaking trip as they both must cross the United States and rely on each other for survival.

The cast features Pedro Pascal as Joel, Bella Ramsey as Ellie, Gabriel Luna as Tommy, Anna Torv as Tess, Nico Parker as Sarah, Murray Bartlett as Frank, Nick Offerman as Bill, Melanie Lynskey as Kathleen, Storm Reid as Riley, Merle Dandridge as Marlene, Jeffrey Pierce as Perry, Lamar Johnson as Henry, Keivonn Woodard as Sam, Graham Greene as Marlon, and Elaine Miles as Florence. Ashley Johnson and Troy Baker also appear in the series.

Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann wrote and executive produced The Last of Us, based on the critically acclaimed video game of the same name created by Naughty Dog exclusively for PlayStation® systems.
