This is the first time the two companies have worked together, and Franck Muller is using its recognisable #FR2 design aesthetic on its Vanguard watch. The end product is a cutting-edge, fashionable watch with the iconic rabbit pattern from #FR2 centred on the dial and Franck Muller’s distinctive numerals and tonneau casing.

The #FR2NCK MULLER Vanguard unites Japanese street fashion with Swiss luxury timepieces by fusing aspects from both worlds and adding its designers’ distinctive finishing touches. On the dial, where Franck Muller’s classic but avant-garde look has adopted street style tendencies, this is instantly clear. Beginning with a matte white dial foundation, which establishes a high key look, black hands, markings, and appliqué indices are placed on top.
The effortlessly stylish timepiece is perfect for anyone who is looking to take their style to the next level. This lightweight timepiece catches the attention of anyone who walks by. The watch maintains the same angular, strong aesthetic. This includes the tonneau-shaped Vanguard case from Franck Muller, which has been created in a brand-new carbon and glass fibre composite. This material will only be used on models that are specific to Southeast Asia.
Carbon powder and glass fibres are mixed together, and the resultant mass is then impregnated with a bonding resin to produce the thin yet sturdy material. After being baked for three hours at 150 degrees Celsius under 200 tonnes of pressure, the mixture eventually produces a composite that can be machined into the required components. Every watch case will have a different pattern of striations due to the random variances in how the mix is crushed. A true limited edition piece!
