The fasting month is once again upon us! If you’re not in the know, once a year, Muslims practice fasting for a whole month during Ramadan. That means no eating and drinking (yes, that includes plain water) from sunrise to sundown every day. The reason behind this practice is to experience the realities of the less fortunate, a way for Muslims to feel grateful for all the many, many blessings God has graced us with. Muslim Aid also counts “to seek forgiveness for past sins” as one of the many reasons why Muslims fast.

One exciting thing to look forward to in Malaysia during Ramadan? The return of the bountiful Ramadan bazaars! You can find every dish you can think of at these bazaars, from traditional Malay cuisine to Western delicacies. Save yourself the hassle of cooking and visit these best Ramadan bazaars in KL and Selangor this 2024. It’s not like you can taste your cooking, anyway!
