My first attempt in this spin class under Li Chan’s (Beginners) class. Although her microphone was a bit blurred & the sound of the music was blasting, she tried her best to demonstrate the moves and workouts accordingly. The gym assistant was also friendly & helped the newbies to set up the bike before the class starts. Will definitely try the next classes!

3. Ministry of Burn

Ministry of Burn’s beginner to high-intensity training programmes at its facilities are designed to help you burn it all off. There are now two locations for it, one in Damansara Heights and the other in Bangsar South. If spinning doesn’t appeal to you, purchasing the packages gives you the option to pick between its bike or row lessons. You cannot leave the bike courses without having a high level of energy and maximal BURN because the enthusiastic teachers have something to give in every session.

Well organised, well equipped, friendly and good value. All features of a gym are appreciated. But most of all the classes are professionally run by experienced instructors, who work hard to ensure you get the best workout possible.

Transforming this middle-aged husk of a man into something closely resembling fitness. The instructors I’ve had (Angela, Don and Yen) have all been encouraging, motivational and supportive. The equipment and the tech they use help to track progress. Highly recommend this place – just brilliant.
