This trendy place hasn’t just cemented itself as one of the most picturesque places around town, it’s also a great spot for foodies to have some good food while enjoying the view. A 16-acre dining hotspot, Bamboo Hills is located just off the DUKE highway in Segambut, and there’s simply tons of restaurants, cafes, and bars that are just perfect for every palate and occasion. 1. Nok Yung

It’s no secret that Malaysians just live for Thai food, and there’s no place better than Nok Yung. This place brings Thai food to a whole new level, putting an exciting spin on incredibly flavourful dishes. Some of our favourites include the Stir-fry New Zealand Mussel with Garlic Sauce, the Gai Pad Nam Prik Gaeng, and the Thai Style Crispy Omelet with Crab Meat. One of the most popular restaurants in Bamboo Hills, Ginger is a stunning restaurant with floor to ceiling windows and food that’s just to die for. Often transformed into an event space, this restaurant is known for its Australian fare with an Indian twist. Featuring an all-day menu with classics like Beef Rigatoni Seafood Bisque, it also has plates to share, including Spanish Octopus, Grilled Udang Galah, and Tandoori Skewers. Patrons should also take note that only pastries and coffee are served between 5pm-6pm.

Run by husband-and-wife duo, this pizzeria is where you can find mouthwatering classics like the Queen Margherita, as well as inventive new flavours like the The Kampung Boy (pictured), made with Angus beef short rib masak hitam, coriander aioli, and keropok udang powder. Tap Room is one of Bamboo Hill’s most coveted dining establishments, thanks to their huge menu of delicious food and even better drinks. It’s not just bar food either; they’ve got plenty of dishes that will fill you right up, like The Anggun Platter (pictured) that’s perfect for two people, their sumptuous Kale Regale, in addition to the Charming Chick, if you’re feeling meaty. Locarasa is one of our favourite spots to hang out at when we’re at Bamboo Hills, thanks to its chill ambience and wide selection of food and drinks. We love the fact that it’s both a restaurant and patisserie, so they’ve got plenty of delicious dishes and pastries to gorge ourselves silly on. With classic pastries, Asian dishes like asam pedas and masak lemak cili api, as well as Western favourites like Angus striploin and their signature Locarasa club sandwich, Locarasa really has got it all.
