The Wei-Ling Gallery is located in an old shophouse with fascinating history and charm. Originally the architectural office of Jimmy Lim, it underwent a remarkable transformation after a fire in 2004. Lim restored the space as an art gallery for his daughter, Wei-Ling, showcasing resilience and creativity.

As you enter through the rustic iron-cast fence, you’ll encounter a unique mix of old warehouse vibes on the ground floor and a spacious three-story gallery above. The gallery’s timber flooring, adorned with remnants of burnt beams encased in Perspex glasses, serves as a poignant reminder of its past, blending seamlessly with newly placed rafters.

While the gallery initially gained attention for its restoration efforts, it now focuses on showcasing exceptional artists and thought-provoking exhibitions. Visit Wei-Ling Gallery, where the past meets contemporary art in an environment that engages the senses and nourishes the soul.
