1. Gladiator II
Travel to ancient Rome with Gladiator II, the sequel to the epic tale set sixteen years after Maximus’s (played by Russell Crowe back in 2000) legendary sacrifice. Starring Paul Mescal, Pedro Pascal, and Denzel Washington — and a few familiar faces — Gladiator II is packed with non-stop battles amongst humans and sometimes even animals, par for the course with a movie set primarily in the Colosseum. We highly recommend watching its predecessor first before this one just to stave off any confusion.

2. Wicked
The wait is finally over: Wicked, the beloved Broadway phenomenon, has made it to the big screen! Explore the untold story of Elphaba, the Wicked Witch of the West, and Glinda the Good — are they rivals, or aren’t they? Set at Shiz University, Wicked is brought to life by the powerhouse performances of Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande, showing there’s much more to the Emerald City than Dorothy and her ruby slippers. Be sure to learn the words to Defying Gravity before heading to the cinema!
