If you have been holding off on restocking your wardrobe staples, this is the week to stop waiting. UNIQLO Malaysia’s Thank You Festival returns from 22 to 28 May 2026, bringing seven days of special prices, new arrivals, and a few good reasons to make a trip in-store.
The timing is well worth marking in your calendar.
A Week-Long Celebration, Straight from Japan
Contents

The Thank You Festival began in Japan as UNIQLO’s annual gesture of gratitude to the customers who make LifeWear part of their everyday lives. It has since travelled beyond Japan’s borders, and Malaysia is among the markets that get to experience it this year.
The premise is straightforward: for one week, UNIQLO curates special prices on a selection of its most-loved essentials, introduces new collections timed to the event, and layers in exclusive gifts and activities to make the shopping experience feel like more than just a sale. Marketing Director of UNIQLO Malaysia Daniel Pieter G. Sumual put it simply: “From work to travel, daily essentials to seasonal dressing, Malaysians continue to make LifeWear part of their everyday routines. The Thank You Festival is our way of showing appreciation to customers through special prices, exciting new collections and unique shopping experiences.”
The Essentials Worth Adding to Cart
This year’s featured items have been chosen with Malaysia’s warm climate and everyday lifestyle in mind. Leading the lineup are Premium Linen pieces, which need little introduction for anyone who has spent a Malaysian afternoon outdoors — breathable, lightweight, and sharp enough to transition from day to evening without missing a beat. Sunglasses and polo shirts round out the headline trio, both of which slot neatly into the kind of versatile, put-together dressing that LifeWear is built around.
Beyond those highlights, the festival also puts special prices on a wider selection of daily necessities: UV Protection Cardigans, Cotton T-shirts, Mini Tees, wireless bras, and AIRism innerwear. The AIRism range in particular has developed a loyal following in Malaysia’s humidity for its moisture-wicking, barely-there feel — if you have been meaning to try it or top up what you already own, this is a practical week to do so.
New Arrivals: The Collaborations and UTs to Know

The Thank You Festival is not just about familiar favourites at better prices. UNIQLO is using the occasion to introduce new arrivals that are worth a look in their own right.
The most talked-about is the UNIQLO x Cecilie Bahnsen collaboration. The Danish designer is known for her romantic, sculptural approach to femininity — think voluminous silhouettes, delicate textures, and a sensibility that sits somewhere between couture and everyday wearability. Her collaboration with UNIQLO channels that aesthetic into accessible LifeWear, making it one of the more distinctive drops to land in Malaysian stores this season.
On the UT front, there are three releases arriving alongside the festival. Blue Lock, the football manga and anime series that has built an intensely devoted following across Southeast Asia, gets its own UT collection. Minecraft joins with a range that taps into the game’s iconic pixelated visual language. And rounding it out is the Manga 100th UT Collection, a celebratory release marking a significant milestone in manga publishing history. Whether you are shopping for yourself or someone younger in your household, there is something across these three that is worth a look.
The Gift with Purchase
From 22 to 28 May, customers who spend a minimum of RM300 in a single receipt will receive a special UNIQLO Stainless Steel Food Jar as a gift. It comes in four colours: blue, green, yellow, and pink. The gift is available while stocks last, so shopping earlier in the festival window is the safer bet if you have your eye on a specific colour.
Giveaways, Livestreams, and More
UNIQLO Malaysia is keeping the energy up throughout the week with daily livestream shopping sessions. Each session features product highlights and styling inspiration drawn from the festival’s key pieces, alongside surprise giveaways for viewers tuning in. It is an easy way to browse the collection without making the trip in-store first, and the giveaways add a reason to stay engaged across the week rather than just dropping in on one day.
Running slightly ahead of the festival itself is the Biggest UNIQLO Giveaway, a social media campaign active from 19 to 27 May. Selected winners stand to receive UNIQLO gift cards and curated LifeWear sets. Details on how to participate are available on UNIQLO Malaysia’s social media channels.
Where and When to Shop
The UNIQLO Thank You Festival runs from 22 to 28 May 2026 at all UNIQLO stores nationwide and online at uniqlo.com/my. The gift-with-purchase and in-store activities are available for the duration of the festival, subject to stock availability.
With a week on the clock and a solid mix of everyday essentials, limited collaborations, and a worthwhile gift in the mix, it is the kind of event that rewards showing up sooner rather than later.
