The Supernova
With the introduction of the brand-new Supernova, Adidas disproves the notion that growth can only be made by pushing oneself outside of their comfort zone. In contrast, they believe wholeheartedly in the value of remaining in your comfort zone – something we appreciate. Not only does the Supernova provide comfort to your body, but to your mind as well. But the highlight of this new pair is that it’s made for entry-level runners, featuring key aspects like:
- Comfort meets energy – the precisely balanced mix of bounce and boost in the midsole is designed to deliver comfort and energy return with every stride
- Padded tongue & heel – the new padded tongue and heel construction delivers a comfortable feeling from the outset
- Grip for any terrain – the direct injected TPU outsole is designed to deliver grip, resulting in a comfortable run on any terrain
- Created through a female lens – the shoe has been crafted to deliver a tailored fit for women, with a silhouette that mirrors the anatomy of the female foot, ensuring that women feel comfortable and supported on their runs
Lower Carbon Footprint
The amount of carbon footprint it takes to make a shoe can be detrimental to the environment. Thus, when we heard that the Supernova features 12% lower carbon footprint for the female version and 10% lower carbon footprint for the male version compared to a previous model, we were thrilled. Not only do we get to sport a stunning and comfortable pair on our morning jogs, but know that we’re also helping in the long run (pun intended).
The new Adidas Supernova features two unique colourways: bliss blue and beam pink for women, and solar green for men. It retails at RM449 and is available online via the Adidas app and at adidas.com.my, as well as at retail stores including Adidas Brand Center Pavilion KL, Adidas Brand Center Sunway Pyramid and Adidas Sneaker Collect KLCC.
Adidas Runners Kuala Lumpur (ARKL)
The Adidas Runners (AR) Kuala Lumpur community aims to start a movement that will use the power of running to transform lives. All like-minded people are encouraged by AR to run for a cause that will have a positive impact on the environment. Runs organised by ARKL are conducted by a core group of seasoned runners, coaches, and captains.
Just this month, ARKL conducted two runs, one at UM Arena which focuses on running drills and interval workouts while the other at Brand Center Pavilion features different distances for runners. The latter also features appropriate distances for beginners, intermediates and advanced runners.
