The PoPo Hot Pot is conveniently located at The Hub, SS2 which is regarded as the go-to spot for foodies who want to relish their taste buds with an array of restaurants. The interior design of PoPo Hot Pot restaurant features spacious areas with floor to ceiling windows glass and oriental decorations. The tables are strategically placed to suit different amounts of people per table. A big pot with an induction cooker is placed at the centre of the table, which makes it a perfect way to share it with a large group of people.

At PoPo Hot Pot restaurant, you will truly be amazed by the variety of soups and steamboat ingredients available. Unlike other hot pot restaurants, they offer an ABC soup base which is a signature dish that is highly loved by its customers. So if it’s your first time visiting this highly rated restaurant, make sure to try it. Aside from that, you can also select other soup bases including superior pork bone soup, spicy sour soup, vegetarian soup, and pig stomach soup which needs to be pre-ordered. For those who prefer fiery spice, we recommend you try out the Sichuan mala peppery soup and Mala soup which is only available on Wednesday and Thursday only.
When it comes to the steamboat ingredients and other dishes, you will surely have a difficult time deciding which one to pick as there are a plethora of juicy meat, fresh vegetables, seafood, noodles, rice and snacks. If you’re looking for the best steamboat ingredients, we highly recommend you to opt for sliced pork (RM11.80), premium fish noodles (RM5.80 for 800 gram) and cuttlefish pork ball (RM5). These three items are absolutely must-haves if you are dining at PoPo Hot Pot restaurant.
For meat lovers out there, you will be glad to know that they have an array of premium cuts including Australian rib eye slice (RM28), Australian lamb slice (RM26.80), sliced pork tendon (RM7.80), drunken chicken (RM7.30), duck blood (RM6.80 for six pieces), pork liver (RM5.30) and chicken gizzard (RM6). Any steamboat would feel incomplete without seafood and luckily at this steamboat restaurant, you can find plenty of fresh seafood like fish slice (RM22), tiger prawns (RM21), clam (RM13.80), mussel (RM8.80), fresh squid (RM7.80), jellyfish (RM7), baby scallop (RM6.80) and brown squid (RM5.80). At PoPo Hot Pot, you can opt for the mini hot pot for two pax which cost around RM58.80. If you’re dining for a larger number of guests, we suggest that you order the PoPo’s recommended indulge set meal. With only RM166.80, you can enjoy a variety of dishes that are carefully chosen by their chef. Plus, don’t forget to add on their signature dishes, PoPo fried rice (RM16.80) and PoPo signature chicken chop (RM16.80). Additionally, you can also make your way to the condiments table to select your own sauces. Whether you prefer soy sauce, red chilli sauce or ginger sauce, there’s a ton of condiments to choose from.
