Few scents are as delicious as baked bread, freshly pulled from the oven. Breadsman, a local bakery franchise founded by three Sarawakian siblings, is well-versed in this truth. After opening three outlets across Kuching, Sarawak, the masterminds behind Breadsman expanded their venture to cafes, starting with Bakehouse by Breadsman. Here, you can find every brunch dish your heart desires, from all things flour to all things sweet — with breakfast sets as a bonus!

As of today, Bakehouse by Breadsman has two outlets — one in Vantage @ Tamu and the other located in Goceli supermarket at The Hills. To get the full café experience, we recommend visiting the former. We’re in love with the burnt orange brick exterior at Bakehouse by Breadsman, decorated with the cafe’s signature royal blue logo. Once you walk through the doors, you’ll be greeted with a spacious and airy interior, complete with black and white art deco tiles and furniture made out of blonde wood. There isn’t a cosier or more stylish place to spend your mornings, believe us.

Mouthwatering Bakery Fare

If you have a passion for pastries, you’re going to have a whale of a time choosing what to order at Bakehouse by Breadsman. Case in point: here are some of the selections: Buttermilk Pudding Toast, Almond Apple Cheese Danish, Chicken Ham & Cheese Croissant Sandwich, Cinnamon Danish, Caper Focaccia, and Tiramisu Danish. And that’s not even half of their pastry menu! You can also opt for English scone sets which come with mini butter and homemade mixed berry jam.

Bakehouse by Breadsman has a breakfast and a brunch menu, both filled with tempting delicacies. The Big Bakehouse Breakfast is a popular choice from the former, while the café recommends their Chicken Chop Tartine from the latter. Last but never least, mornings are never complete without a cup of coffee. Bakehouse by Breadsman is particularly proud of their Caffe Latte, Dirty Chai, and Spanish Latte. There’s also a wide range of non-coffee drinks to choose from, including Niko Neko Matcha Latte, BAKEHOUSE Signature Lemon Fizz, and Bakehouse Frappe. Pick your poison!
