This year, the highlight of the mooncake collection is the release of two new flavours: Snowy Tangy Yuzu and Snowy Hazelnut Chocolate Ganache mooncakes, each limited to 1,000 pieces.
These mooncakes offer a tantalising fusion of tastes, skillfully crafted by hand to provide a rich and less sweet flavour profile. The Snowy Tangy Yuzu mooncake features generous layers of vanilla sponge, lemon cream, yuzu filling, and mousse, resulting in a refreshing and delightful taste. The Snowy Hazelnut Chocolate Ganache mooncake, on the other hand, combines a feuilletine crust, hazelnut dacquoise, salted caramel ganache, and hazelnut mousse. These new flavours are priced at RM 32.80 per piece.
The Moonlit Elegance Premium Gift Set is adorned with packaging that resembles illuminated moon-shaped boxes, making it a perfect surprise gift for your loved ones. It includes four best-selling mooncake varieties: Lotus Mooncake, Golden Starlight with Single Yolk Mooncake, Golden Emerald Mooncake, and Noble Delight with Single Yolk Mooncake. It retails at RM 238 per box.
Additionally, Oversea Restaurant is offering the Aurora Snowy Mooncake, another gift set option featuring six flavours. With an extensive selection including Green Tea with Red Bean, Lotus with Sesame, Noble Delight with Mango, Chocolate with Coffee, Green Tea with Lemon, and Golden Tangerine with Lychee, it caters to every taste palate. The Aurora Snowy Mooncake is available at outlets for RM 85 per set.
The much-loved “The Moonlight Swirl” by Oversea Restaurant will also return this year. Featuring ingredients that symbolise Luck, Prosperity, and Tradition, it encapsulates the “Lou Sang” experience as a celebration of family togetherness.
