Genting Highlands Premium Outlets is located inside Genting Highlands and is easily accessible by vehicle, bus, taxi, and cable car from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia’s capital city (from Genting midhill to the peak). It’s around a 45-minute drive from Kuala Lumpur and can be reached through the Karak Expressway. It is Southeast Asia’s and Malaysia’s second Premium Outlet Centre, as well as the world’s first hilltop Premium Outlet Centre, having opened in June 2017. More than 150 designer brands and boutiques are available at the shopping attraction.

In Kulai, Johor, it first opened in December 2011 as a joint venture between Genting Plantations and Simon Property Group. It was only Malaysia’s second outlet mall, following the Oriental Village in Langkawi, which later closed. It is three hours from Kuala Lumpur and one hour from downtown Singapore and is near Senai Airport.
It is located at the crossroads of the North-South Expressway and the Second Link Expressway in Kulai. The property is situated on 18.2 hectares of land and has a built-up area of 379,000 square feet. Phase 2 of the enlargement was finished in November 2013. It has 150 outlet stores by 2019 and claims to be receiving 4.5 million visitors each year. The property’s third phase launched in March 2019.

Mitsui Outlet Park KLIA SEPANG is a factory outlet mall 60km from KL and 6km from KLIA and KLIA2. The Klang Valley’s first outlet mall, which champions the factory outlet idea and offers a variety of upper-middle to high-end off-season brands and items at substantial prices, opened in July 2015. The outlet features 140 stores providing fashion, accessories, fragrances, cosmetics, confectionery, athletics, household products, and luggage, with a total commercial space of nearly 178,000 sq. ft. The outlet is based on the theme of “Paradise Village,” and was conceptualised by Nonscale, a Japanese worldwide architecture and design firm.
It also has a Japanese Specialty Store (Japan Avenue) where you can learn about Japanese art, culture, music, and culinary delights. This outlet also provides an assortment of delectable delicacies ranging from genuine Malay cuisine, oriental fare, and western pleasures, as well as cafés and a food court, to cater to a varied range of clients.

Design Village Outlet Mall is a multi-award-winning outlet mall concept located in Bandar Cassia, Batu Kawan, on 24 acres of land. Design Village Outlet Mall, which is owned and operated by PE Land, first opened its doors to the public in November 2016. At the time, it was Malaysia’s largest outlet mall, with a built-up area of 400,000 sq. ft. Design Village Outlet Mall includes 150 stores with a wide range of fascinating worldwide and local brands from fashion, cosmetics, sports, home, restaurants, and lifestyle cafés, both premium and high street.
5. Freeport A’Famosa Outlet

The Freeport A’Famosa Outlet was launched in January 2016 in cooperation with London-based Freeport Retail. With a total area of 180,000 square feet, it houses over 80 fashion, sports, and accessory businesses.
The mall has a lake, fountains, carousel, and windmill, as well as architecture inspired by Malacca’s Dutch past. The outlet lies in the heart of Malaysia, halfway between Kuala Lumpur and Singapore, near Melaka, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It’s just next to the A’Famosa Resort’s main entrance in Alor Gajah.

The first premium outlet shops in Perak, Silverlake Brands Village, will open at the end of this year. You’ll get a glimpse of the spectacular sunset vista because it’s situated along the banks of a lake. There will also be 146 retail lots, a large food court, and 20 bazaar-style retail units where you may shop till you drop. You may also go to Lat’s “Kampung Boy” mansion, which is set to open on the premises!
