“Look Back” is about a fourth-grader, Fujino, whose four-panel manga strips are featured in her school’s paper and are always praised by her classmates. One day, she sees a manga strip created by her classmate Kyomoto, someone who barely goes to school, published in the school’s paper for the first time and receiving praise for its detailed artwork. This makes Fujino extremely jealous, and she devotes herself to drawing but eventually gives up and quits making manga.
