The Launch of Limone
After months of working to develop the ideal menu to satisfy every taste, they have managed to create amazing flavour combinations with only the finest ingredients. A variety of delectable French desserts are featured on their menu, including a mouthwatering Bailey Praline Cake and a tart with lemon and yuzu that is stuffed with rich almond creme. Who doesn’t love citrus desserts?! Ps. They look good on camera too!
For those wishing to spice up their caffeine intake, their barista has created a special list of coffee mocktails in addition to the typical coffee options. Their drinks menu contains a variety of regional flavours including pandan, lychee, and mango, which surely enticed our Asian taste buds. Matcha lovers get to indulge their cravings as well at Limone.
Now let’s talk food, because they’re totally worth talking about! From brunch servings to pasta dishes and elevated poke bowls, Limone’s menu gives plenty of options for every person that walks through their doors. Chef Tee, co founder and head chef at Limone put his heart in every dish that goes through their kitchen. Tee’s career as a chef has taken him through a number of prestigious roles in the Malaysian culinary scene. His several endeavors—from JW Marriott to Just Heavenly and La Casa—have taught him the importance of resiliency and growth, which have helped him develop into the chef he is today.
Alongside Chef Tee, Sherina has been working nonstop for the past year to realise their passion project. In 2020, as the Covid-19 pandemic began to spread, Sherina—a mother, wife, and businesswoman—started her baking career. Sherina turned her free time during lockdown into a lucrative home baking company, and now she receives tons of orders for her cakes and pastries. She turned to her baking coach Tee to help her realise her dream of fusing her expertise in marketing with her love of food. And lucky for us, we now have Cafe Limone.
