Anything that screams ‘Instagram-Worth’ really catches our eyes faster than anything else—be it a restaurant, cafes, hidden spots, malls and even hotels! Though, Malaysians mostly opt to spend their weekend at eye-catching cafes and hidden spots—little did they know, they really missed out (huge) on tracking down the best boutique hotels around the area. And it still baffles me how Malaysians would really spend thousands of ringgit to travel outside the region when there are plenty of unique, breath-taking and photoshoot-worthy kinds of hotels available around Malaysia.

Boutique hotels—which are smaller in comparison to regular prestigious hotels, usually house fewer rooms, but with unique settings. Regular hotels as you know are chains in rooms and floors. Boutique hotels on the other hand, because they are unable to accommodate more people due to their smaller sizes, you can almost guarantee a personalised stay. In short, you’ll be treated like a VVIP.

States like Kuala Lumpur, Penang and Melaka have a lot of boutique hotels—they also have hundreds of gems that are worth the visits, so make sure you get photo-ready. Glitz by Beauty Insider listed out some of the best boutique hotels around Malaysia that will honestly spice up your Instagram game!
