Ikano Centres, part of Ikano Retail and the developer of IKEA-anchored shopping centres, has announced the upcoming launch of two new dining destinations: IPC Gourmet Hall in IPC Shopping Centre and Toppen Foodland in Toppen Shopping Centre, both set to open in December 2026.
Food holds a central place in Malaysian culture and daily life. The launch of these two concepts highlights Ikano Centres’ ongoing commitment to improving and investing in the dining experience within its centres, creating vibrant social spaces where communities can come together and enjoy meaningful moments.
IPC Gourmet Hall: A Refined and Inviting Dining Space
Contents

The new IPC Gourmet Hall is designed to be a sophisticated yet inviting dining destination, offering a carefully selected blend of flavours and cuisines. This space offers shoppers a chance to unwind, enjoy moments of relaxation, and come together over delicious food, creating an atmosphere where everyday dining is enjoyable.
Set to begin construction in April 2026, the IPC Gourmet Hall will span a total Gross Leasable Area of 43,000 sq. ft. and will include 39 outlets. The design integrates indoor greenery and plants, with earthy, calming colour themes to foster a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. The contemporary architecture combines clean lines and neutral tones in an open-plan layout, enhancing accessibility and creating a sense of spaciousness.
The IPC Gourmet Hall will provide a range of seating options for both social interaction and private moments, along with central island-style food counters that encourage engagement between patrons and tenants.
Toppen Foodland: A Lively Social Hub

In the south, Toppen Shopping Centre will introduce Toppen Foodland, a dining destination built around the tagline ‘New eats, new vibes.’ Designed to be a lively social hub, this concept offers a wide variety of cuisines and fast dining options for the Johor community.
Following the addition of Jaya Grocer last August, the Ground Floor of Toppen Shopping Centre will undergo further transformation with the introduction of the new dining space, enhancing the centre’s dining and lifestyle offerings.

Construction is scheduled to start in March 2026. Toppen Foodland will span 35,000 sq. ft., featuring 32 outlets that include a mix of inline restaurants and Grab & Go kiosks. This caters to a variety of dining needs, all set within modern industrial-inspired interiors.
This addition reinforces Toppen’s status as a key lifestyle destination for the people of Johor.
IKEA-Anchored Integrated Retail Ecosystem
By leveraging IKEA as a central anchor, a fully integrated shopping environment is created, boosting cross-shopping and customer flow throughout the destinations. This boosts foot traffic and enhances the overall appeal of both shopping centres, along with their wide variety of retail brands.
Adrian Mirea, Managing Director of Ikano Centres, shared:
