In an exciting new partnership, Horizon Watches and Selten Watch have joined forces to introduce the Limited Edition Nemo Reissue Collection. This partnership blends Horizon’s bold, engineering-led design with Selten’s refined dial-making expertise. The result is a unique timepiece that goes beyond the usual rules of watchmaking, offering something fresh for collectors.
A Chance Encounter, A Creative Spark
The collaboration took shape in an unexpected but inspired way. Fred Bekher, the founder of Horizon Watches, was drawn to Selten’s M1 Moonphase collection, especially its stunning CNC guilloché mother-of-pearl dials. Inspired, he reached out to Selten’s founder, Leonardo Tsai, to propose blending both brands’ strengths. The proposal was then immediately welcomed.
“I love the idea of collaborating with a fellow microbrand,” shared Leonardo Tsai, founder of Selten. “Fred’s Horizon Nemo collection felt like the perfect canvas for our unique dials — it was a natural fit.”
The Horizon x Selten collection comes in two eye-catching colours: a sleek black that reflects Selten’s classic elegance, and a bold teal that captures the adventurous underwater theme of the Nemo series. Only 50 pieces of each version are available worldwide, making both highly limited.
Design Meets Craftsmanship
The watch comes in a 40mm case made from durable 316L stainless steel, with a mix of brushed and polished finishes for a refined look. Its unidirectional rotating bezel features a sapphire insert filled with SuperLuminova (BGW9). This adds both functionality and a touch of vintage style. A boxed sapphire crystal with triple-layer anti-reflective coating on the inside keeps the dial easy to read from all angles.
Additionally, at the centre of this collaboration is the CNC guilloché mother-of-pearl dial, a true showcase of Selten’s craftsmanship. Polished indices and hands filled with SuperLuminova bring the dial to life, catching the light beautifully and staying clear and legible even in the dark.
Two Colours, 100 Watches Only
Only 100 pieces are available worldwide, with 50 in each colour. The Horizon x Selten Nemo Reissue is available exclusively at Red Army Watches stores in Pavilion KL and 1 Utama Shopping Centre, or online.
