Hilton Kuala Lumpur introduces “Jamuan Penuh Makna, Raikan Detik Bersama”, a Ramadan experience that blends beloved traditions with modern flavours and the spirit of togetherness that characterises the holy month. This year’s theme highlights Malaysia’s rich culinary heritage while adding contemporary touches, welcoming guests to come together in gratitude and share meaningful moments over food.
As Ramadan draws families and friends together, Hilton Kuala Lumpur captures this sentiment through an atmosphere where every element, from the food to the decor, expresses warmth, reflection, and shared appreciation.
Keropok Citarasa Laut: Where Sustainability Meets Malaysian Flavours
Contents

Hilton Kuala Lumpur’s sustainable Ramadan initiative continues to advance its efforts in reducing food waste with a new innovation, Keropok Citarasa Laut. This crisp, golden cracker is made from repurposed seafood shells that are carefully cleaned, roasted, dehydrated, and ground into a flavourful powder before being mixed with tapioca flour, coriander, oyster sauce, and white pepper. The dough is steamed, sliced, and lightly fried to create its delicate bite.
Keropok Citarasa Laut is more than a festive treat. It highlights the hotel’s continued commitment to sustainability through small-batch production, expanded live stations, the use of locally sourced ingredients, and responsible waste practices, proving that thoughtful innovation can stay delicious and distinctly Malaysian.

Adding a sense of culinary theatre, the live stations feature Murtabak Angus, Golden Snapper Fish Head Curry, Lamb Gear Box, Grilled Scallops with Ginger Garlic Chili, Lebanese Shawarma, Australian Wagyu Bolognese, and the indulgent Royale Caesar Reef Lobster Caesar Salad.
