Gin and gourmand enthusiasts can indulge in an exclusive evening of flavour and artistry on December 13, 2024, from 6:30 pm to 10:30 pm. Additionally, this event will celebrate the finest Nordic-inspired gins, perfectly paired with a bespoke four-course menu, carefully curated by the talented Chef Sazli and overseen by Executive Chef Antoine.

The Stockholms Bränneri Gin Pairing Dinner will begin with a welcome by Ravin, the CEO of Craft Spirits Sdn Bhd, who will share the intriguing story of Stockholms Bränneri. By combining Nordic traditions with modern techniques, this esteemed distillery creates bold and refined gins that pair wonderfully with the evening’s culinary delights.

Four-Course Menu that Takes You on a Culinary Journey

The evening will kick off with two exquisite starters: Spicy Lamb Kofta with Flatbread, Coriander & Labne, and Ginger & Garlic Prawns with Lemon Yogurt, complemented by a refreshing Pink Gin Cocktail. What’s more, this will be followed by the appetiser course, featuring Fennel-Apple Syrup Infused Crabmeat, Dill Home-Cured Salmon with Caviar, Fried Yolk, Juniper Sea Jelly, and Green Velouté, all paired with the unique flavour of Akvavit Gin.

Adding a burst of refreshment to the dinner, the Pink Garden Bramble Sherbet is a vibrant creation infused with raspberry grenadine. Additionally, it serves as the perfect palate cleanser, invigorating the senses and setting the stage for the grand finale.

Now comes the spotlight – the centrepiece of the Gin Pairing Dinner: the Orange Lacquered Smoked Duck Breast with Foie Gras and Vanilla-Infused Pumpkin. Moreover, this culinary masterpiece, created by award-winning Chef Antoine and his talented team, blends delicate orange sweetness with the depth of smoked duck breast, creating a harmonious balance of flavours and textures that will leave guests in awe. Paired with the Dry Gin, this dish definitely enhances the dining experience to another level.

Finally, the course ends with the delectable Stockholms Sour Cheesecake, paired with Oak Gin, offering a memorable conclusion to the meal. This indulgent treat features a Gin Strawberry Rhubarb Compote, paired with Vermouth Fig, Candied Ginger, Salted Hazelnut Soil, and Dark Chocolate Mint Gelato, ensuring a flavourful experience. Each element thoughtfully crafts a harmonious balance of sweet, tangy, and rich flavours.
