Dua Lipa is Coming to Kuala Lumpur For Her Radical Optimism Asia Tour

Back in 2017 and 2018, British-Albanian popstar Dua Lipa visited Malaysia as part of the Good Vibes Festival and her first album era, respectively. In 2024, Lipa will make her grand return to Kuala Lumpur in honour of her Radical Optimism Asia Tour. It may have taken six long years, but for us weary Malaysians, often left out of world tours by our favourite artists, a win is a win! If you’re a fan of Dua Lipa’s impressive roster of hits, including New Rules, One Kiss, Don’t Start Now, Levitating, and Houdini, here’s everything you need to know to catch her live in Kuala Lumpur this year.

The Radical Optimism Asia Tour by Dua Lipa

Dua Lipa’s Radical Optimism Tour is in support of her third album, Radical Optimism and it will kick off in June 2024. Don’t expect to find any disco tunes on this LP, as it features a neo-psychedelia and dance-pop sound instead, evoking a European beach party in the summer. Dua Lipa will perform songs on the album alongside her most popular tunes for one night only at Axiata Arena Bukit Jalil on November 23, 2024. The Radical Optimism Asia Tour will also include stops in Singapore, Jakarta, Manila, Tokyo, Taipei, Bangkok, and Seoul.

Radical Optimism has produced three chart-topping singles: Houdini, Training Season, and Illusion. The LP has reached the top spot in eleven different countries, including its number one debut on the UK Albums Chart. This marked the best opening week for a British female artist since Adele’s 30, released in 2021. In America, Radical Optimism debuted at number two on the Billboard 200, becoming her highest-charting album in the country and surpassing the peak of her critically acclaimed second album, Future Nostalgia.
