Converse has unveiled its latest lineup of All-Star designs which were released as part of the collaboration with Pokémon. Available in four colours, the collection pays tribute to the iconic Pokémon characters, Charizard, Pikachu, Eevee, and Mewtwo.
The colours of the All-Star shoes correspond to the signature colour of the character with vibrant yellow representing Pikachu, orange for Charizard, mustard for Eevee and purple grey for Mewtwo. In fact, the shoe sole is also creatively designed with colour palettes based on the Pokémon.
Keeping with the Pokémon theme, brief info on each of the characters’ names, book numbers, heights, and weight are printed near the heel. You will also notice a small pixel art of Pokémon characters designed on the tongue of the high tops. Buyers will also obtain an exclusive Pokéball-inspired shoe box.
Unfortunately, no further announcement was released on whether the Converse x Pokémon collection will be available in Malaysia. However, you can opt to purchase these shoes on Converse Japan’s official website. The retail price is ￥9,900 which is approximately RM332.64.
