Calling out all anime film aficionados! Be the first to catch ‘The Colors Within’ on the big screen as it premieres in Malaysia starting November 21, 2024.
The anime film finally premiered in Japan on August 30, 2024, after being pushed back from its initial fall 2023 release date. From the director of ‘A Silent Voice’, expect a rollercoaster of emotions as you follow the journey of the three main characters brought together by music.
The Colors Within is about a high school student, Totsuko, who has the ability to see the “colours” of others. She can see colours representing excitement, bliss, and serenity. However, she has one colour she treasures the most. A classmate, Kimi, radiates the most beautiful colour of all, and it is her favourite colour. As life takes a turn, Totsuko, who doesn’t even play an instrument, forms a band with Kimi and Rui. They meet Rui, a quiet music enthusiast, at a used bookstore in a secluded part of town. As they rehearse at an old church on a distant island, music unites them, building friendships and stirring feelings. Will they uncover their true ‘colours’?
