Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week (KLFW) returns for its 12th edition at the iconic Suria KLCC shopping centre. Featuring over 50 designers and brands showcasing their ready-to-wear collections, the annual fashion event, KL Fashion Week 2024, will take place against the backdrop of the majestic PETRONAS Twin Towers from July 29th to August 4th, 2024.
Anticipate a renewed diversity of styles at KLFW 2024, where attendees can look forward to contemporary designs, bold deconstructed pieces, sophisticated streetwear, and hybrid designs combining comfort and high fashion.
A new show slot will spotlight the beautiful craft and artistry of batik with “Fashion Forward Batik Malaysia,” featuring Ruzzgahara, a Kelantan-based batik brand blending modern fashion with traditional techniques.
Renowned local fashion brands such as Rizman Ruzaini, Nurita Harith, Alia Bastamam, and Fiziwoo will grace the runway alongside Fuzana Mokhtaza, making her debut at KLFW 24. Debuting brands include SHALS, Corak, Akudesign, LARNEY, Ghostboy, and Tact, showcasing their ready-to-wear pieces at this highly anticipated event.
This show space spans from end to end of the Esplanade, KLCC Park, boasting a build-up area of a whopping 12,000 sqft. The single-storey layout includes the main show hall, runways, various activation spaces, and accommodates up to 500 guests per show.
It’s known that this fashion show is for invited guests only, but the monochrome structure is designed with a large LED screen panel, making live streaming of the KL Fashion Week 2024 runway possible for everyone. As the first-ever KLFW open to the public, this year’s event raises the bar, and we are just too excited for it!
