The BTS: Permission to Dance on Stage – LA was released exclusively on the Disney+ Hotstar today as part of its global day celebration.
The 4K concert film, which was recorded during the band’s shows last year in Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium, stars RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook. It documents the band’s first in-person meeting with fans in two years after the pandemic.
The release of BTS: Permission to Dance on Stage – LA also includes performances of the GRAMMY®-nominated group’s hit songs, including “Dynamite”, “Butter” and “Permission to Dance.” Viewers will also get the chance to watch other BTS songs alongside stunning choreography, live effects, pyrotechnics and many more.
BTS, an acronym for Bangtan Sonyeondan or “Beyond the Scene,” is a South Korean boy band that has achieved worldwide acclaim since its debut in 2013. The band broke numerous world records and has spoken at both the United Nations and the White House.
The Disney+ Hotstar Day content lineup features global premieres from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic and The Simpsons.
Previously announced programs include, “Pinocchio,” a new episode of “She-Hulk: Attorney at Law,” “Cars on the Road,” “Obi-Wan Kenobi: A Jedi’s Return,” “THE ZONE: Survival Mission,” “Growing Up,” “Epic Adventures with Bertie Gregory,” “Tierra Incógnita,” the “Frozen” and “Frozen 2” Sing-Alongs, and “Welcome to the Club,” a new short from The Simpsons.
