Omakase is a Japanese term that means “I’ll leave it up to you” and is typically used while having sushi in Japanese restaurants.

It is frequently used by Japanese customers who prefer to entrust the picking and dispensing of seasonal delicacies and sushi to the chef rather than expressing their order from a menu. The chef will next begin to deliver a curated succession of meals that will astound you.

The omakase experience is great for a special occasion or romantic dining since it allows you to taste and savour a variety of the chef’s specialities without having to worry about the selection.
