Atome, Asia’s leading buy now pay later brand, announces K-pop group ASTRO as its global brand ambassador. ASTRO came together in 2016, comprising of six members namely MJ, JinJin, Cha Eun-Woo, Moon Bin, Rocky, and Yoon San-Ha. They are currently one of the most popular South Korean music groups. Since its debut, ASTRO rose to the top among Gen Z and millennials fans in Asia, amassing tens of millions of followers across social media platforms. ASTRO As Atome’s Global Brand Ambassador
The group recently released their eighth Mini album “Switch On” in August with the music video of the title song “After Midnight”. The particular music video garnered over 30 million views on YouTube. The video was also seen winning notable recognitions from “Music Bank”, “Show! Music Core”, “The Show” and “Show Champion”. Aside from that, ASTRO member Cha Eun-Woo has also starred in hit Korean dramas. The dramas are True Beauty, Rookie Historian Goo Hae-ryung and My ID is Gangnam Beauty.
As Atome’s global brand ambassador, ASTRO will also headline Atome’s upcoming holiday shopping campaign, #OwnTheExtraordinary. The campaign is currently ongoing and will last until the end of the year. The regional campaign will be a 360-degree campaign with a series of online and offline interactive challenges, activities, and promotions over the four-month period.

#OwnTheExtraordinary Campaign
The #OwnTheExtraordinary campaign will feature exclusive deals and rewards from notable brands. You can find brands such as L’OCCITANE, Garmin, Hush Puppies, Switch, XIXILI, and Melissa Shoes. This campaign will also cut across major festive seasons and sales events. This includes 11.11, Black Friday Cyber Monday, 12.12, and Christmas celebration.

The campaign will firstly launch with a series of online teaser activities in Malaysia. Then, shoppers can expect the Extraordinary Experiences challenge on the Atome MY Instagram account. There are also the Shop and Win and Extraordinary Hunt, with exclusive ASTRO merchandise to win. There will also be interactive content on smart spending and shopping advice to help Malaysian shoppers make smart purchasing decisions and manage their spending.
The Extraordinary Experiences challenge is currently ongoing from now till Nov 14 on Atome’s Instagram Account. The Shop and Win activity will is also currently ongoing from now till Nov 28. As for the giveaways, they will commence from Dec 1-25. So keep your eyes peeled!
