Astrology has come a long way—how many of you started learning about your basic Sun (the primary) sign, to memorizing the whole entire chart of your astrology life? I know I do. Truth is, astrology is more than just about identifying your zodiac signs. They are also tied up heavily to Tarot reading, your personal gemstones and which crystals suit you the best. It took me a year to adapt with all this information and trust me, I’m still learning. 

However, you don’t have to get all fussy about the latter, just getting yourself familiarized with your own world chart is enough, though. But for some people, they can’t even seem to master the art of their primary sign just yet… how the heck are they supposed to learn about the extending signs—yada yada. Lol, worry not. We’ll get to it later. But first, bear in mind that, even a zodiac signs’ often represents someone’s true emotions, mood, character, strength, weaknesses and others, it doesn’t define who you truly are as a person. So, if you’re a douche, you’re a douche. Get it? Don’t blame it on Scorpios. Seriously you need to learn a thing or two.

Sun Sign, Moon Sign And Rising Sun

To make it brief, a Sun sign is based on the position of your birth date. It is referred to as the primary sign, known as the sign that rules them all. Sun sign is what is mostly used to learn about one’s basic nature and identity. Simply Google or calculate your birth  date, and that’s how you know which sign you’ll fall under. However, the Moon sign dictates inner mood and emotions. Basically, how you react to certain situations, how you tackle the solutions and how you think is tied up heavily to your moon sign. So, in short, when it comes to mental and emotion, your Moon sign rules them the most. Rising—or some experts call it Ascending sign represents the impression others get from you. Known as, your ‘aura’’. These are the big three that you should keep in your mind, though, there are indeed few minor signs that you could study for yourself like Venus sign, Mercury sign and others. 

The Element Of Zodiac Signs 

If you think the wheel of signs are hard enough to understand, there are other main categories that you need to know of. Remember the famous line from the Avatar movie about ‘’Fire, Water, Air and Earth ruling the world?’’ yeah, hate to break it to you but they actually took it from the Zodiac context. On the other hand, the elements can be described as the primary ‘’house’’ to each of the twelve zodiac signs. We made it brief for you below: 

Fire: Aries, Leo, Sagittarius (bold, confident, creative, and daring)

Air: Aquarius, Libra, Gemini (communicative, sharp, and intellectual)

Water: Pisces, Scorpio, Cancer (emotional, intuitive, and connected with the subconscious)

Earth: Taurus, Capricorn, Virgo (solid, practical, and unyielding)

The Twelve Zodiac Sign 

Aries (March 21 – April 19), 

These hot-headed rams are often independent, determined, and have magnetic personalities. Due to their quick pace, Aries might be haughty or indifferent to the feelings of others. But you could always count on Aries for everything. They are often optimistic thinkers with a baggage of strong energy who fight for what they truly believe in. 

Taurus (April 20 – May 20)

These earthy bulls, often famous for their stubbornness yet realistic thinking. But due to their practical viewpoint, they may be perceived as materialistic or possessive, while being patient. Tauruses are also seen to be trustworthy when it comes to money and other crucial concerns.

Gemini (May 21- June 20)

There’s a reason why the majority can’t seem to trust the Gemini, because of their ‘’double faces’’ or twin symbolism. But truth be told, Gemini have a sharp wit and never shy away from showing their true expression. Geminis are social butterflies that are intelligent, loving, and flexible. They are, nevertheless, uncertain, uneasy, and inconsistent.

Cancer (June 21 – July 22) 

Ah, the crabs. People who are born under Cancer sign are deeply emotional, sympathetic and soft-hearted. But do not take their kindness as a sign of weakness because in alignment to their intense emotion, Cancers are moody, manipulative, and even insecure or pessimistic.

Leo (July 23 – Aug. 22)

Hear them roar, very loudly. Often portrayed as stubborn, self-absorbed and drama queens/kings, Leos are generous, passionate, and warm-hearted. And as much as they wanted to mask their bright, bold and confidence in front of the world, when they’re alone at home or around the people they trust, Leos will purrr as soft as kittens. 

Virgo (Aug. 23 – Sept. 22) 

Virgo are realistic, unyielding and hardworking individuals with super strong personalities. They want structure and are meticulous, leaving little to chance. These kind spirits may appear too soft or too critical, depending on the crowds. 

Libra (Sept. 23 – Oct. 22) 

Libras are known for their honest, sympathetic, and diplomatic characteristics. Known as social butterflies around their friends, good communicator and carefree. Because of their desire to please the wrong crowd, Libras are also known for their indecisiveness and self-pity.

Scorpio (Oct. 23 – Nov. 22) 

Not only are they brave, passionate and hot-headed, Scorpios are very intellectual and quick to adapt to their surroundings. They can also be aggressive or chase an adrenaline rush. In certain times, their possessiveness and jealousy behavior could be their downfall. 

Sagittarius (Nov. 23 – Dec. 22) 

Sagittarius or the archers are mostly carefree, they have this ‘’you only live once’’, kind of mentality. These people are considered adventurers with curiosity and energy flowing through their veins. But due to their ‘’living life’’ point of view, Sagittarius can irritate her surroundings at times. 

Capricorn (Dec. 23 – Jan. 22) 

Capricorns, as obvious as its symbols, are truly the G.O.A.T. They are  serious people by nature and firmly adhere to tradition, independence and prosperity. However, these realistic personalities can make knowledgeable people appear humble and unforgiving.

Aquarius (Jan. 23 – Feb. 22) 

Just like their symbol, Aquarius Aquarius are resourceful people. Depending on how well you know them and how old you are, they can appear shy, quiet or lively. Capricious, and clumsy, Aquarius is a deep-minded person, they’re mostly very smart and can speak directly into someone’s mind. 

Pisces (Feb. 23 – March 22)

If you know Pisces, you’ll know how gentle, compassionate they are. They usually made  a very good companion due to their sensitivity to their surrounding, over-caring and dependent people. When they don’t get their way, these people can be overly gullible, sad, or have a desire to escape.
